Why Crosscountry

Dogs learn best when they feel safe and comfortable

Our facility supports both sides of a great boarding and training experience: clean, comfortable care when dogs are resting, and plenty of space, structure, and exposure when they’re ready to work, learn, or play.

Comfortable, well-equipped kennels

Our clean, spacious, climate-controlled kennels and play spaces offer your dog ample room to run and socialize. With both indoor and outdoor exercise areas available, they have daily opportunities to enjoy free time outside their kennel, no matter the weather or time of year.

Real-world training environments

Our 20-acre rural setting gives dogs room to experience the kinds of sights, sounds, and situations they may encounter outside the kennel. With open fields, wooded areas, water, horses, barns, livestock spaces, and room for controlled gunfire exposure, we’re able to train bird dogs, working dogs, and family companions in real-world environments that help lessons stick long after they go home.

On-site Canine Care Suite for hands-on attention

Our Canine Care Suite is designed for bathing, routine health monitoring, medication administration, whelping, and puppy care. This stocked suite is instrumental in helping us give every dog individualized care, so our canine guests remain comfortable, clean, and healthy throughout their stay.

  • My puppy is a completely different animal after spending a month with Randy and Bridget. The phrase “night and day difference” doesn’t even do it justice. My puppy obeys commands the first time and has great manners around people and other dogs.

  • Randy's knowledge of dogs is incredible, and his training skills are exceptional. His success in both breeding and field trials speaks volumes about his dedication. I wholeheartedly recommend Randy and Crosscounty Kennels to anyone looking for a skilled trainer.

    — Eric B.

  • Their expertise in training field trial dogs is top-notch. The trainers truly understand what it takes to develop a competitive field trial dog, and their attention to detail is unmatched. If you’re looking for a proven training program, this is the place to go.
